Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” – Aristotle

What do you think of criticism?  How it should be taken?

In my opinion, those who can understand that criticism is merely nothing more than that and It entirely depends on the way you take it. If it helps in growth and strengthens your mind then more value will be added to your personality.

I would like to suggest using your ears as a filter, valid and pure opinions, should be kept close to heart, useless and discouraging factors ought to be eliminated it will help you, just like the water purifier removes the filthy particles from the water and makes it pure to drink, in the same manner, always try to keep good and effective things within you, rough and fruitless assertions,  that can spoil or contaminate your thought process should be removed.

These sorts of expressions must not be paid attention to, if these words come out from the other's mouth to make you feel rejected and dejected, and affect you badly, It means you are not strong enough to regulate yourself. At that time it becomes necessary to keep going. I do feel whether it is compliments or criticism, never let these factors overshadow your true persona. If one gets influenced easily then nobody can save him from downfall.

As it has also been noticed that sometimes people get devastated by glory, rather than broken by their criticism so you have to be cautious enough to deal with both circumstances. If anyone targets your vices and condemns you, then you should try to work on these flaws to make them better rather than creating a fuss about the facets that can be controlled easily. Because goodness always remains unquestionable nobody feels a need to work on it.

Sometimes it has been felt that if the criticism is taken sincerely can bring about a lot of change and dignity in life. An individual who has a passion to obtain only the finest would never waste time focusing on useless objectives to deal with. I know  Criticism is not fun at all, whether it is positive or negative.

While Constructive criticism can help you to get more rational in your thinking and look at the world with better perspectives. If friends are criticizing any of your flaws, and you have started working on those defects,  It means the things are still in your hands, because you are checking out that particular issue without ignoring the opinion of your friends.

When you don't pay heed to arrogance and keep trying to prove that you are not less than perfect, it means you are paving way for the destructive criticism and providing the opportunity for your foes to make statements regarding your defects.

I can understand that it's very tough not to pay heed to personal comments, but it gets toughest, with negative or destructive statements .in this situation generally it has been seen that a person has got limited options to come out of this condition. An individual who neither knows himself well nor has faith in his capabilities and skills suffers a lot, due to this type of criticism. This situation never entangles the one who always keeps working on himself, without bothering the opinion of others regarding him.

Those who never let anyone allow to define who are they and how they should be? because nobody has got the right to set terms and conditions for others'. One has to concentrate only on how to get better with time. Always keep in mind perfection is not for the beings, so it is advisable, not to look for the things that are out of reach. It is God who knows everything of everything, he is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

Always keep in mind, the less beyond expected things are focused the less anguish will there be. If you're sure that the criticism is completely frail,  and only meant to hurt you, then you are supposed to acknowledge the difference between the two and try to get an idea of how it could be handled.

Constructive criticism is, ideally, meant to help you while destructive criticism is only intended to cause hurt. The decisions taken to handle the criticism will decide the fate of the rest of the things in your vibrancy.

Try to develop the habit of introspection and keep analyzing yourself at regular intervals believe me if it is done, then it will block that path on which the critics walk on to pass useless remarks to degrade you. This exercise isn't meant to make you feel bad about yourself; it's only meant to make you feel good and see that you have a vision for improvement and that you are ready as well to take it as your mission.

“Remember: when people tell you something’s wrong or doesn’t work for them, they are almost always right. When they tell you exactly what they think is wrong and how to fix it, they are almost always wrong.”–  Neil Gaiman
