Last week I was walking along the road and almost lost in my thoughts. Suddenly an incident caught my attention this experience was enough to make anybody realize there is nothing like crippled-ness it's all about the mindset of a person and how he would like to carry himself to perform duties. I noticed that there was a big pit and a man was trying to provide help with his cane he was disabled.

I got aware, in no time, that the pit was full of water a puppy had fallen and got stuck under something, both were struggling at their places, one inside the pit pining to come out other outside determined to make him out. Anybody could get motivated and I was not an exception.

When I went close to offer him a helping hand to make the pup out, I still remember he gave me a quizzical look and asked what I thought he couldn’t do it alone because he was disabled, and further said that he lives life, the way we live. Before I could answer, that neither I had such intentions nor wanted to hurt him, at the same time I saw that a cute puppy with the support of his cane jumped out of the pit and ran away.

Some people were there but merely like spectators, and didn't provide any help during the process. Selfless nature or selfish attitude how the norms of the crippled-ness should be decided. Then the man narrated what exactly happened, he told that half an hour before he was passing from there and heard a creaky sound that was coming from the pit then he went near, and found a puppy who was struggling to come out from that watery pit, he immediately decided to take him out, without thinking of his ability, it had been proved that man might be crippled but mentally how strong he was. So we should not underestimate anybody, sometimes it is only the mental power that keeps you going, especially at that time when physically a person is feeling low.

This inspiring and heart-touching act make me write something. It is the bitter truth that we people always like to take liberty in forming any kind of opinion regarding anybody in human society. It has been seen that able-bodied people in society look at the disabled with pity and occasionally in support make various provisions in form of donations.

These able people willingly or unwillingly try to indicate to them, that somewhere their imperfection works as an obstacle to getting on. Exhibiting useless pity is neither reasonable nor appreciable at all. They also deserve the same, respect, love, care and trust

This way of thinking always remains at stake, why are the crippled left aside, and by whom these so-called perfect people have been given the right to tag those people as imperfect.

Now a question arises who are we to decide that this man can/can't do the particular kind of work? As We know our decisions are usually based on the way we evaluate or estimate people, in the able–bodied, the common fact is ignored how could merely a viewpoint of anyone decide whether a person is fit or unfit for certain types of work?

If a person thinks too much it can not be right all the time, and as a result, reluctantly the two sides get created, outside and inside. This excessive thinking sometimes could not only develop negativity but might be led anyone in the wrong direction. The most damaging part of it is when begin to reveal some or other kind of disability and you find yourself unable to tackle it.

Why does It happen? You can only hold yourself responsible for this because you didn’t pay attention at that time to your heart and realize this when your head goes out of control.

We generally analyse people the way we want them to see rather than the way they are mentally or emotionally, by not using our sentiments or wisdom.

This emotional lacking creates emptiness within a person and ceases his ability to make connections with people around him, and this situation indicates, the journey from something to nothing gets to begin.

It is said that a person who is not emotional and does not take care of his relations. One day he could be relinquished by all of them who used to give importance before the revelation of truth regarding his temperament.
