Yesterday, I was walking along the road when I noticed a group of people gathered on the pavement. I went near and saw a 13-year-old boy drawing a picture. As usual, people were providing unwanted suggestions, but he seemed undistracted.

It was clear that he knew what he was doing and how it should be done. Eventually, the beautiful picture was completed. His rapt attention compelled me to ask how he had been so focused. His answer amazed me. He said that the picture would never have been completed if he had started focusing on their suggestions. He made me realise how true it is. If one wishes to achieve something in life, they should be focused enough and work in the way they feel is right, rather than getting entangled in the desires of others.

Choosing to work on oneself should be based on personal feelings and desires, rather than focusing on what others wish for you. focusing on the self is essential for individual growth and happiness. A good sense of authenticity and fulfilment can be enhanced by opting for the path that one feels interested in.

It is almost fair to maintain your current course of action rather than becoming embroiled in the pursuit of your desired outcome. Often, the allure of change and the yearning for a different path can cloud our judgement and lead us astray from the progress we have painstakingly made. Therefore, it is essential to critically evaluate the potential benefits and drawbacks of diverting from your present trajectory.

It is very well said that personal feelings promote self-awareness and understanding. When individuals focus on themselves and their desires, it paves the way for their inner thoughts, emotions, and aspirations. This whole process develops a deeper sense of self-realisation and cultivates a more profound connection with our true identity.

It is observed that the way personal feelings are prioritised becomes enough to nurture independence and autonomy. If you get entangled in the desires of others, there will be a risk of losing your sense of agency and becoming dependent on external validation.

How to work on oneself should be based on one's feelings,  the individuals reclaim control over their lives and then make decisions that align with core values and beliefs. If one knows the way the current approach is preserved through this accumulation of continuity and stability can be ensured, both these aspects play a great role in achieving success.

Consistency allows for the of experience, sharpening your skills and deepening your understanding of the task at hand. It has been noticed that when we follow our desires, we can pursue our aims and interests, to gain better experiences that truly resonate with us, leading to a sense of purpose and contentment. It can be detrimental to one's mental and emotional well-being, so one should not allow oneself to get entangled in the desires and expectations of others.

If anyone wishes to fit into a pattern or constantly seeks validation from others, it can lead to feeling unfulfilled and disconnected from oneself. This disconnection can pave the way for unfavourable emotions such as tension, uncertainty, and disappointment. On the other hand, when individuals listen to their inner voice and stay true to themselves, they experience a sense of authenticity and self-assurance that contributes to their overall well-being and happiness.

History has proven that innovators, inventors, and trailblazers are often individuals who dare to be true to themselves, regardless of societal expectations. When individuals dare to follow their own path and express their unique ideas and beliefs, they contribute to society's progress and foster a diversity of thought and creativity.

Now the question arises if a person gets more focused on personal feelings without considering others estimation regarding him, which can lead them to seclusion and weakened connections. We all are social beings, and our happiness often comes from positive interactions with others.

By completely dismissing the desires of those around us, we risk damaging relationships and missing out on the benefits and joys they can bring.  It has been seen that listening to others can broaden our horizons, challenge our own biases, and enhance our understanding of the world. It is through interacting with others and considering their desires that we can gain new perspectives and expand our personal growth.

However, it is important to note that this does not reflect a complete disregard for feedback and the standpoints of others. Formative criticism and guidance from trusted sources can be invaluable in personal growth and development. However, it cannot be ignored that great accomplishments and advancements are hardly made by those who always heed and follow the crowd.

Continuing to be true to oneself and working on one's self-esteem is essential for personal growth, self-acceptance, and overall happiness.  The desires and expectations of others cannot dictate one's path in life. By embracing their true selves and following their instincts, individuals can lead fulfilling lives while also contributing to societal progress and embracing diversity.

It is crucial to remember that true success comes from within, and if a person stays true to oneself, it becomes a lifelong journey that is worth pursuing with accomplishment and joy.
