I would like to share a story about my neighbor. He was a man of complaints, very unsophisticated, and used to behave very badly with his wife. Whenever the wife was asked about her husband's misbehavior, she didn't utter a single word.

One day, while passing by, I noticed the lady standing at her doorstep, apparently looking for something. I greeted her and asked how she was doing. As usual, she answered 'fine' with a broad smile, but her dewy eyes were indicating something completely different from her words.

Anybody could understand that the lady was suffocating under the shell of her husband's weird temperament. It was clear that the lady needed a healing touch that could help to free her from under the heels of her husband.

I decided to continue the conversation, but she was avoiding the topic even though she was least interested in discussing what she was going through. Then I said, "You should understand that hiding the truth doesn't require courage, but revealing it requires immense courage."

Suddenly her husband called her in. I told her that anytime she felt lonely and desired to unburden herself, she could feel free to talk to me. This time, she looked at me with an entirely different expression in her eyes. Then I realized that the ice could be broken.

After a week, as I was passing by, I noticed her looking out from the window. As I approached, I noticed that she was beckoning me to call. It was a positive sign. I went to her and noticed that she was calm and, most importantly, ready to talk.

She offered me a coffee and said, 'A few years back, he was not like that. He used to be a happy and proactive person. During the pandemic due to the lockdown, he lost his job and has been unable to find another one. He lost his calm and became easily irritated by trivial issues. His streak of bad luck threw him into frustration.'

"I asked what he was doing to get the job again. She said, "We believe there is no use in making efforts when luck is not in our favor." Her answer surprised me a lot. I asked whether she also believed in the same irrelevant logic. She nodded. I told her to ask her husband to set new goals for himself and always try to be determined and positive.

He had to be focused and never let the struggle go in vain, and soon their positive thought process would help them gain the desired results. I further suggested, "If anyone wishes for luck on their side, then they should start working harder, even harder.",

It is believed that the God Almighty never places a burden on our souls greater than they can bear. Every kind of good sooner or later can be showered on us in the form of blessings, so there is nothing to worry about. We should go for the opportunities without doubting our capabilities.

He is there to take care of us. We are supposed to be focused on our aims rather than rewards. It is our hard work that will compel luck to become inclined in our favor.

In my opinion, opportunities are always missed by those who try to ignore the importance of work in life. They never realize that it is only hard work that can get them back on their feet, but this action helps a lot to stabilize themselves in that frame of luck in which people always keep wishing to see fortunes on their side.

First of all, you should have a goal and also be supposed to make strategies accordingly. It is not about small or big aims, it is all about how much effort you are ready to put in. Whenever a person goes with his interest in choosing options, it indicates how great results can be achieved.

It is observed that a good combination of choice and interest may bring luck to your side because many people are still there who believe that luck is something that is beyond their control and that it is simply a matter of chance whether they are successful or not.

However, the simple truth is that luck is not something that can be relied upon so earnestly, and if anyone wishes for luck on their side, then they should start working harder, even harder. That's why it has been acknowledged how this common and the most authentic phrase of life 'hard work always pays' has been repeated from time to time by successful people throughout history.
