It is observed that more dreams get crushed due to untold fear rather than failures. This observation touches upon the powerful role that fear plays in shaping the outcome of our aspirations. Untold fear often stems from societal pressures, familiar or unfamiliar expectations, and even the fear of stepping outside the norms. The fear in itself is enough to paralyze and compel individuals to avoid risks or settle for something less, instead of embracing the challenges necessary for personal growth and success.
The untold fear is also acknowledged as insidious. When we think of crushed dreams, we often think of big failures, missed opportunities, or setbacks that were the cause. But in reality, it is often the fear of these things happening that stops us in our tracks. One of the fears that is very common is how to prove ourselves better than others.
The fear of not measuring up, the fear of making a mistake, holds us back and prevents us from pursuing our dreams. Sometimes this way of thinking compels us to accept that we are not good enough, so we will never succeed. We should just give up before we even start. This thought process makes us paralyzed and leaves us stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and indecision. Before we become aware of this, our dreams get crushed with the burden of that untold fear.
I still remember one of my cousins was very interested in adventurous sports. She wanted to take part in mountaineering and trekking, but her fear of having an accident worked as a big barrier to her learning. She used to remain very upset. I wanted to know the reason for her perplexity, so she told me about her fear. I said that she might not be passionate enough about her goal. She asked me what to do and how to tackle this fear. She further told me that people around her thought she could never be a trekker.
It seemed that she was looking for genuine advice and wanted to overcome her fear. I suggested that first of all, she should stop thinking about what people think or say about her. Because this issue was not connected to people at all, it was all about her strength and determination.
So, she was supposed to work hard and keep inspiring herself not to give up without overcoming her fear. There is only one thing that can protect you from fear: kill your fear before it kills you. She did the same, started to go trekking, and increased the time duration daily. It helped her a lot, not only in improving her skills as a trekker but also in exposing her fear enough to enhance her boldness.
Now she is very good at trekking. It is simple logic to understand one who wishes to make themselves free from any kind of fear and start working to make fear powerless. It can be made possible only when the level of courage and conviction gets enhanced in such a way that it becomes enough to make a big blow on that spot where fear exactly lies.
Let this fear lie in the same fear so that it can also be thrown out from that spot anytime. If you think that fear should never be allowed to run over your head, then get ready to take the bull by its horns and always stay positive, be strong, and keep smiling with your eyes fixed on the aim of your life.
It often happens that untold fear not only halts opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and overall human progression, but also snatches away valuable support, partnerships, and mentorship whenever individuals choose to keep their dreams silent, as these aspects in some way or another help them succeed. It is through communication and sharing that a dream gains strength, resilience, and ultimately a higher chance of success.
We notice how dreams fuel us, drive us, and give us purpose. They are like a light at the end of the tunnel, sparking our passions and inspiring us to keep going. However, it is observed that dreams can be a source of inspiration and fear at the same time. There is fear of failure, fear of unknown ideas, and fear of others' opinions. This fear develops rapidly when individuals engage in conversations with people who have different perspectives.
This type of situation somewhere makes us realize that untold fear often crushes more dreams than actual failures. It is very true and common that fear, if not checked in time, works as a bigger obstacle to achieving our dreams. Therefore, it is usually argued how fears play their role in crushing dreams or desires of mankind. Now the question arises: why do they suffer? It seems that they never try to fight somewhere; they fail to gather courage and to develop invincible intentions of coming out from any kind of odds that are really required to raise the level of confidence.
The process of gathering courage makes us aware of certain valuable lessons that help individuals become more resilient. Many successful individuals have spoken about the significant role their fears play in their eventual achievements. By experiencing and overcoming fears, individuals become better equipped to face challenges in pursuing their dreams and desires.
