All of us may have different views regarding friends. Some of us believe that a good friend should be loyal, while others think that they should be authentic. As we know, true friends can create a wonderful impact on life, while vice versa, the wrong one can throw you into commotion and leave without help. So, we all assume that friends should be like mirrors and shadows in life. Such as mirrors always tell the truth and shadows never leave you alone.

 Individuals do expect that whether the phase is good or bad, the friends should stand by them like shadows. In the same way, when they introspect themselves and fail to reach any decision about their worth, then in that situation, they begin to look for true and meaningful advice or opinion for better perspectives. Then the friends, without getting biased, are supposed to give a true opinion, just like a mirror reflects truthfully.

If we try to understand what exactly a friend is, it comes out like this or it can be summarised in this way too:  Frank, Reliable, Inspiring, Enthusiastic, Nice, Daring = FRIEND. 

Frank = A good friend should be candid enough to say anything, whatever the situation is. If he is not frank and always tries to prevent himself from speaking the truth, especially at times when he feels that the truth must be told. 

Reliable = Being a friend, one should be reliable. It can be said that the worth of friendship lies in reliability. The more reliable a friend is, the more trust can be developed. 

Inspiring = An inspiring friend always keeps trying to push even the tough souls towards their goals. This practice helps to lay the foundation of strong friendships. 

Enthusiastic = An enthusiastic friend can make a big difference in the life of those who start feeling low and easily become victims of monotony and idleness. It has been noticed that a lack of enthusiasm means a lack of interest, and it can affect anyone,but the enthusiastic approach of the friends never let this happen.

Nice  It doesn't mean just outer appearance; it is more than this. As a friend, you have to set an example of what the benefits of being nice are. 

Daring = Being a friend is a big responsibility on your shoulders. When you notice something fishy or below the mark in friends, at that time being a good friend, you are supposed to tell them that they are on the wrong track. It needs courage and a bold attitude.  The good combination of all six in any friend not only becomes enough to create the spell but also may pave the way for the best outcomes.



We all know how friends play a great role in our lives. It is believed that good friends always remain with you. It doesn't matter to them which way the wind is going to blow. As we observe the world keeps changing, and in the same way, other things too. But this whole process of change never lets the friendship get affected. It indicates that friends are constant. It is a common fact of life that we all have a hidden wish that exists somewhere deep inside the heart, which is to earn appreciation from the people around us. But we never try to check this fact or apply it when it comes to our friends.

I can understand that it sounds very amazing, but true, most of us try to take our friends for granted and the close ones suffer a lot due to this attitude of ours. It is not about false praise at all. As far as friends are concerned, we should be honest because the way friends are inspired or encouraged is going to be reflected in their personality.

 If something odd has been noticed in their personality, then our commitment as friends will be at stake. True friends, whether near or far, always remain close to the heart with their fair opinions and inspiring vision. Their spirit remains together, and friends never get judgmental about one another.

It is well said that the more open our friends are, the stronger the bond of friendship will be. If true friends find any negativity or ugliness, they try to remove it by creating better circumstances either by adding fun elements or giving certain fruitful advice. I don't think it matters how many friends a person should have, just one or a lot because it is not a numbers game. Sometimes one loyal and inspiring friend becomes useful to make a difference rather than the gathering of a useless crowd.

Real friends never feel the need to explain how true they are because when fears and trials test or rub you against the rock and you struggle hard to come out from the labyrinth of conflict, and if failing to connect yourself even with the kindred, at that time, something becomes visible as a ray of hope - your friend who is trying to convince you that you are not all alone and standing by you like a strong pillar, and shall never leave you alone even in the toughest period.

Friendship is just like a cup that is filled up to the brim with various feelings such as conviction, happiness, commitment, and sweet responsibility. All these emotions keep working smoothly exactly the way two friends want, and it continues until one starts looking for the opportunity inside that cup. It works as a pinch of poison and becomes enough to destroy the whole concept of friendship. 

When friends become family, they not only illuminate your life with amazing ideas, but their resilience and let-go attitude create immense power and mutual understanding, which help in laying the foundation of an everlasting bond of friendship. A man who by chance finds a lot of wealth but leads life in isolation without friends may not be considered lucky in comparison to those individuals who have not got that much valuables but surely lucky enough to get those friends who give priority to add more value to their life and everyday try to provide new tips for survival.
