People generally remain confused and ask this question: How do the psychological and social determinants create an impact on our personality?

It is the fact that interaction between psychological and social determinants plays an important role in shaping the personality of an individual.Psychological determinants go with cognitive processes, emotions, motivations, and various influences work on the way individuals understand and interpret social situations. For example due to their self-perception and behaviour the individuals who feel low in life even take feedback from others more negatively

But as the answers reveal, the aspects of learning and understanding a thing as a part of personality differ from one person to another and so does its impact.  Then again, the impact of our surroundings on personality can be expressed in these ten major factors. These tens play a vital role in the development of the individual.

The Influence of living place-:

The environment of the house has a huge impact on the development of personality.  This effect occurs as a general rule according to the patterns found in any particular culture.  In the family, the relationship of the child with the parents is very important.  It has been noticed  that cultural development largely depends on the behavior of the elders of the family.

The child who brings up in the frame of Indian culture his behaviour remains different from that one who will be brought up in western culture for sure.

But sometimes even in the same culture, more differences can be observed in the parent-child relationship in different families. Generally, the children have learned how to care and respect  their culture.

As far as Indian families are concerned, parents not only nurture the feelings of love, care  and sympathy but also never fail to show their children true love and affection. In such situations, an introvert often enjoys dreams, daydreams, and imagination mostly that are desired by their parents.

The influence of parents' practice of love is unmatched for all children. It has been observed that one child is able to be aggressive whereas in the same situation the other child is able to be submissive.

While in other situations if a child gets excessive affection and pampering the child may become obstinate and fully dependent on the parents. Those children who are ignored and objected to by their elders for each and everything shows different types of conflicts in their personality.

It is also not good that children are always tempted to obey their parents' preferences, so much so that at that time they only choose their own clothes, books, games, etc.  Those parents who do not allow their children to behave as per their choice, their power to take decisions on their own reduces and starts acting as a big barrier.  That is why they never get a chance to develop in a better way by using their brain.  If these people are freed from pressure then it helps them to become better, humble and self-reliant.

When children do not feel free at the time of making their choices, if the parents don’t allow them to choose their clothes, books, sports, etc. Their decision-making power will remain at stake, so they never get an opportunity to use their mind to get developed in a better way.  If it continues can lead them to submissiveness and over-dependent.

Influence of School on Personality  -:

Personality also gets influenced very much in schools. The teachers and the class fellows help in molding the personality of a child. In the same way, parents and other elders in the family become ideals, and the teachers and companions are in the school.

The child never likes to be friendly with strict and rigid teachers. The personality and good conduct of a teacher create a remarkable impact on the personality of a student. Sometimes all sort of teachers doesn't create any impact, it has been noticed that only influential  teachers are followed by the students.

Same kind of impact may be created by classmates and playmates on his personality These things have been structured in a group in which every child has his specific position and roles corresponding to it.

One can see the leader, the daredevil and the scapegoat child in a group as well. The daredevil executes each and everything, and the scapegoat is left to receive the blame and consequent punishment. There are several types of groups so that kind of leadership is expected which can be based on different types of characteristics.

So that sometimes the intelligent student leads while at other times that is daredevil. Personality development is a complex process and when serious changes occur it creates new situations that every individual has to stand up to.

Social Effects on Personality-:

As we all know, the web of different types of relationships is called a society. The connection of one person to another in building relationships is necessary for society. The personality of an individual gets very much Influenced and assists him in creating interpersonal relationships. The role and functions of a person have been determined by his position in society.

It has been witnessed that sometimes the fear of Society gets bigger than the fear of the hell and heaven after death, and the governing state. Social norms influence the ways attitude of a person very much. Personality gets immensely affected by society and it comes into  existence through socialization. The interaction between society and an individual helps to mould the personality.

I think people can change extensively, but a little bit at a time that it’s not so obvious until you look into it. A person knows that childhood remains a  blank slate before receiving outside impressions,  and the experiences and perceptions begin to form a state of conscious awareness in children.

In the formation of a true personality, the norms of society, emotional behavior, and practical knowledge decide the further acquisition, ions of self-concept You are compiled in many versions of yourself, you might be,  active/ lazy, good/ bad, weak/ strong, confident/hesitant, extrovert/ introvert.

I think All these versions are part of human life and it depends on the way a person tackles and tries to develop, the one he wishes, that should not only be noticed but also make an admiring difference in the world. It is a fact that generally, the people around you try to judge it entirely based on the personality you wear to make an impact on others.

If a person has decided to lead an effective and purposeful life. It’s simply your choice how life should be designed, always keep in mind that whatever you do makes the difference more to you, rather than anybody else.

Believe me, if you choose and design nicely, you can make a bigger difference not in your life but the life of others as well. We have to understand that in the absence of integrity and moral support, neither an individual can develop nor be groomed properly for the challenges.

We know that man is the only being endowed with the keen and penetrating intellect intelligence and an enormous ability to thrust on knowledge of the world and this understanding develops capacities to add cultural, social, and artistic values to human life in all its aspects. The creativity of man is dynamic and working since the very early times.

If a person wishes to develop the highest ideals of goodness should be encouraged more and more. The more he realizes the importance of individuality the more groomed he will become. It is believed that man is the most beautiful creation of God Almighty. Hence it has been noticed several times that great exaltation is made on human personality.

The development of Spiritual values or ethics can help the individual to make progress in different spheres of life. I would like to discuss certain points of Jung’s classification of personality divided the human personality into two introverts and extroverts. Introversion is the tendency to force attention towards the inner, mental world rather than external physical ‘beauty’.

Now, through these two major theories the analysis of the modern world can be understood in a different way, the father of modern psychology Sigmund Freud while Carl Jung the founder of analytical psychology have theoretical differences and deviations can easily be noticed in both psychologists. They both interpreted the perceptions regarding the unconscious mind in distinct ways. The understanding of the human mind or psyche, according to Jung, is made up of three components, the ego, personal unconsciousness, and collective unconsciousness.

The ego is a part of the conscious mind that includes feelings and memories that a person is well aware of. Where in the personal unconscious the hidden fears, memories, and desires are stowed. In the idea of the collective unconscious, the difference between both can be acknowledged, or shared through congenital markeups and history. It refers to the entity of human experiences that one is born with.

Our point of view depends on or works properly, when we get cautious enough, of our problems related to ego. It's tough to understand the mechanism of ego, and it gets toughest to deal with when it comes to your own.  Always be focused, on your ego, rather than the other people around you. If you wish to remain positive and want to deliver the best version of yourself then you have to work hard on your negative notions.

If you have a desire to be better never put on your personality as clothes because it is not only related to the outer appearance. It also defines, as the integration of individual structures, moves, genuine behavior,  abilities, inner strength, pious intentions, composure, and positive thoughts as well.

The environment also reflects in your personality extensively. So, generally, you are tagged with different kinds of connotations by people, these might be negative or positive. If these are positive need not worry about it everything is good. if these are negative, even then you have to remain calm,  it is the testing time, try to find out the drawbacks within yourself, and start working on the flaws wholeheartedly to overcome your negative aspects.

As we can easily acknowledge how our social structures, such as culture, family dynamics and social norms, can spread the specific ideas that govern human processes.  For example, the culture and beliefs help us in clarifying the understanding and impact of the family dynamics, such as parenting styles and sibling relationships, can influence the development of personality traits, such as grooming and attachment styles.

I would like to suggest only one thing: don't ever try to find out the reasons for your weaknesses in other people. If you do so, it means you are merely interested in making a fuss about issues, rather than sorting them out. If it happens, things will automatically get worse and go out of control. It is observed that these interactions between psychological and social determinants are dynamic and complex.
